As I mentioned in the description of my main Red Hood drawing, I also did a face version, because me loves to draws faces yo. I used the same model for reference as in my BatFam portrait, because consistency is key (as if) and mostly because i feel Stephen James' face is ideal for Jason Todd (at some point i will have to start paying him royalty, I've seriously used his face way too many times) Anyways I didn't want to post the exact same drawing, with only difference being a face and not a mask, so I did this random crop, couse why not.

I think I'm on a super Batman mood these days, because to be real, i'm not inspired to draw anything else (seriously I have rhaegar targaryen drawings which are half done and i can't bring myself to finish them). Anyways, some Red Hood conceptual art from me, because I recently reread the "Under the Red Hood" storyline and in my opinion it can make an incredible DC movie. This is how I can see Jason looking in live action. I know the most common RH mask is a flat without facial features, but I'm a massive fan of the New 52 rendition and I think it can work better in a movie - more weird, more unsettling, more creepy, etc. Some have already said this looks like a power ranger or Vision and tbh i had those concerns when designing, but in the end of the day I felt it's more important to bring something different to this artwork. Considering I'm a massive fan of the character I might do some alternative, more faithful design in future, no one knows. I really hope they bring Jason in the DCEU, I'm following the news and they are investing heavily in the batfamily, which duuuuh they should, and with Nightwing and Batgirl on horizon, Red Hood can be next. 


I hope if they decide to show RH's origin it's the one from Arkham Knight, in my opinion far more dramatic and realistic than the one in Under the Red Hood, because to me this whole random zombie-like resurrection always seems too thin of a plot. Every villain brutally beating Jason in the asylum for a year and Joker literally branding his face are a pretty justifiable reason why dis boi be so messed up. Plus in Arkham Knight, Harley Quinn was involved in the creation, of this new Jason, which fits with what they have already set up in Suicide Squad.

Oi Oi, been some time, but your fella here started a proper job and drawing is kinda clashing with the whole flow. So if you've seen some of my old work you can tell I'm a fan of the Batman universe, but in reality he is my all time favorite superhero. I mean kids nowadays have 282 superhero movies each year, but in my childhood there was only Batman (maybe superman, xmen and spiderman cartoons, but that's all) I've recently played Arkham Knight and boy oh boy game was BOMB, which made me question "Why in seven hells are we not getting a bat family movie????" Rogues Gallery is amazing and all, but what really elevates Batman to me is his family aka all them adopted orphans and sidekicks.  Considering how messy this DCEU is and the chances of getting a decent Batman movie are slim, I decided make a tribute to Arkham Knight and do my interpretation of the core batfam (Sorry Tim Drake, no one cares) We have Bats, Nightwing aka the best sidekick in history, Red Hood aka the very problematic fave and Batgirl aka that Killing Joke movie was so bad that I almost threw my laptop on the ground in rage #justiceformygalbarb 

Took me ages to finish this one up, but I'm quite happy with the result and I hope some Batman fans enjoy it.

Here's a second conceptual drawing dedicated to Frank Herbert's incredible series Dune. This is my depiction of Paul Atreides (another fave) from Dune Messiah. At that point Paul is an Emperor to the known universe, but I felt Paul would be "fuck you, traditional emperor attire" and would wear something mixing his Atreides heritage and fremen past. I wanted to incorporate black and green, with black being predominant, due to years on Arrakis. Additionally I wanted Paul to have some sort of armor that reminded of sandworms' scales, but not turn the whole thing into a armor suit. Obviously, similar to Jessica this is not meant to depict Paul in the desert, but how he would wear himself in his palace. I know someone might say "damn this hair be so douchy" but I feel Paul was kinda of a douch anyway. 

So yea that's pretty much it, we'll seen when I'm done with Duncan and Irulan (I also have a wip of Alia) 

Hi everyone, long time no see.

I'm super obsessed with Dune, I've read all of Frank Herbert's novels (didn't bother with his son's continuation) and I'm dying to see proper Dune adaptation on screen (either HBO or Movie, imma take both, because that David Lynch verson was horrendous, like i can't even, this wasn't Dune whatsoever). For some time I've been working on series of conceptual art posters of some of my favorite Dune characters. First one is Jessica, which is my top 3 from all books. One familiar with Dune will be like "Oi dude, why is Jessica walking without a stillsuit in the desert????" but to you my friend I say "ignore the background, that's just the connective tissue between all of the drawings". This concept depicts Jessica shortly after her arrival on Caladan. I wanted to illustrate her distance from the Bene Gesserit (btw Bene Gesserit is everything, I can draw any character from Heretics or Chapterhouse, because SON, I love them all) by embracing lighter colours. At the same time I wanted her to keep the seductiveness of a typical BG, and look very intense and even slightly demonic. Like people were suspecting Jessica of treason, if she'll be blamed for shit, she might as well look bomb at the time. Overall I wanted Jessica to have almost a "goddess-y" look to her, because let's be real to make Leto fall for her so much, she must have been out of this world. 

Sooo, I hope someone likes this piece of art. In few days I'll post Paul and in some time Duncan and Irulan.
